Raven Tattoo Care Aftercare Salve goes to work right away, healing new tattoo work and maintaining the color and lines in previous tattoos. Continual use will keep tattoos fresh-looking! This is an ALL NATURAL product, meaning chemical-free and dye-free, made with products found in nature. NOTHING ARTIFICIAL has been added! Raven Salve has a great scent and is priced right! Raven Salve is not strong-scented like the other salves, and contains NO DYES OR CHEMICAL ADDITIVES. We chose to package Raven Salve in an easy-open, FDA-Approved food grade tin, since we feel plastic can, in some instances, leech chemicals into the salve, rendering it less effective at healing. WHAT INGREDIENTS ARE IN RAVEN SALVE? Raven Salve consists of a simple yet effective natural recipe. Our traditional healing ingredients include the essential oils of lavender, calendula and lemon grass, along with vitamin e, a little beeswax and olive oil. Naturally Healing and Soothing! WHAT INGREDIENTS ARE NOT IN RAVEN AND WHY? We do NOT include petroleum ingredients as they have been found to clog pores and prolong healing. We do NOT include alcohol, tea tree oil or citric acids, all of which have been found to be too harsh and to have "drawing" properties, causing scabbing and negatively affecting the outcome of tattoo artwork. We do NOT include any DYES or CHEMICALS in Raven Salve, as they have been known to cause allergic reactions in some people. These facts are based on our opinions, after careful research and testing! HOW IS THIS PRODUCT APPLIED? Once the bandage is removed, this salve may be gently applied up to four times daily. It soaks in quickly and immediately starts to heal and keep the colors fresh. It also makes a great lip gloss, and healing salve for every day cuts and scrapes. In keeping with sanitary practices, your client should be informed that this product is not to be shared. We will gladly send an email with information on tattoo aftercare to your client at your request, but prefer advice in regards to tattoo care comes straight from you, the Professional Artist.
